A21:No.Basically,itisnotnecessaryforyoutohaveanyZambianshareholders

accordingtoourlaws.However,certainlicensessuchassmallscalemininglicensesare

givenonlytoZambians,andnon-Zambianswishingtoinvestintheminingsectorthrough

asmallscalemininglicensewillhavetopartnerwithalocalZambianinordertodoso

andthisrequiresatleast75%Zambianownershipinthecompany.Broadcastinglicense

willonlybeissuedtoacompanywith75%Zambianownership.

A24:ThereareonlytwotypesoftenureinZambia.Theseareleaseholdandcustomary

tenure.Zambiahasnofreeholdsystemoftenure.Theleaseholdtenurerunsfor99years

andisrenewableforfurther99years.Furtherrenewalispossibleifthereisnobreachof

theconditionsintheexistingagreement.Landinthecustomaryareacanbeconvertedto
